Mark Allen Hanrahan is a managing partner at Urbandale, Iowa’s Markmel Co. LLC, where, since 2009, he has earned the company an over-20 percent return on investment in venture capital transactions. Outside of work, Mark Allen Hanrahan’s hobbies include watching his favorite professional sports teams, including the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL).
With the 2017 NFL season still months away, Chicago added to its coaching staff in February, announcing the hiring of Zach Azzanni, Brandon Staley, and Derius Swinton II. Azzanni, who will assume the role of receivers coach, comes to the team with 18 years of experience coaching at the collegiate level. He previously served as a receivers coach for the University of Tennessee and has also worked with Wisconsin and Bowling Green, among others.
Staley brings 11 years of experience to the Bears staff and will work with the team’s outside linebackers. He previously worked as a defensive coordinator for John Carroll University and is a former quarterback for the University of Dayton. Swinton II, meanwhile, returns to the Bears as an assistant special teams coach after working with the San Francisco 49ers in 2016.
